ICADV is promoting safe, stable, and nurturing relationships and environments because we believe that is one of the most effective strategies available to all of us for eliminating intimate partner violence. These are the small moments that make a big difference to violence prevention.
Research shows that safe, stable and nurturing relationships and environments support optimal child development, have the potential to reduce child abuse and other forms of violence. These are the small moments that make a big difference to violence prevention.
As parents, siblings, colleagues, teachers, mentors, uncles & aunts, godparents, grandparents, partners, kids, supervisors, mentors, business owners, legislators, neighbors, etc, we each have the power and lots of opportunities to increase the goodness that goes on around us.
